1. All books are Octavo in size and in original cloth unless otherwise indicated.
   
   
2. Any item to be found defective when not so described may be returned, providing it is done promptly.
   
   
3. The following gradings have been used to describe the general condition and appearance of each title:
   

   Mint:	As it left the press.
   Fine:	In almost new condition with no defects or markings and only small signs of wear.
   Very good:	Some signs of use but still structurally intact.
   Good:	Where the effects of age and use are making their presence felt on the structure and materials of the book.
   Fair:	Complete and presentable though perhaps only as an interim copy.

   (N.B. Dustwrappers are described first and then the condition of the book).

Payment:

1. Prices are in Australian dollars and do not include postage and packing which will be an additional charge.
2. We accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER and PAYPAL or cheque(check) drawn in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. (For cheques in foreign currency please add Aust$10.00 processing charge).
3. For security reasons it is possible for credit card details to be given in one of the following ways:
   • By using the secure ordering (available with the search & shopping trolley facility, when placing an order online).
   • By email (broken up into two or more parts and sent in separate emails).
   • By fax (our fax number is +613 8640 0648.
   • By telephone +61 3 5422 7363 (please note the time differences. Message facility if phone unattended).
   • By standard air mail letter (Please order by email and we will hold the item awaiting your details).

Postage:

1. Postage and packing will be an additional charge.
2. Within Australia standard postage rates apply.
3. For overseas orders there are three options:
   • Air Mail (for the northern hemisphere eg. USA or Europe, usually takes around one week).
   • Air Courier (Skippy Post)(most commonly used form -cost is roughly 2/3 of air mail and to USA or Europe usually takes around three weeks).
   • Sea Mail (only marginally cheaper than economy air and can take around three months to reach USA or Europe).
4. PLEASE NOTE: If form of postage is not specified all international orders will be sent by air courier on receipt of payment.
5. We are not responsible for the failures of any postal system.

Insurance:

1. Insurance is an additional option; for all orders valued at over Aust$100.00 we strongly recommend the order be insured.
2. Insurance rates are Aust$3.00 base plus Aust$2.00 per Aust$100.00 or part thereof.
